You know those great old Army videos you downloaded called "Rifle Marksmanship with the M1 Rifle - Preparatory Training"? (YOU DID download those, right? They're available here on archive.org at http://www.archive.org/details/Rifle_Marksmanship_with_M1_Rifle_Part_1 ) Well, this is the companion book. It includes the missing first section on sighting. There is also an article that was being used for a bookmark on Snap Shooting; and pics of a "Sighting Training Device".

[UPDATE 21 April 2013]
Today I have verified that the downloads still work

Notes This book was recommended to me on some forum and I found a copy. I wish I could remember where, perhaps someone there will find it.

Subject: A Blast from the Past!
A great book for Project Appleseed Instructors and M1 Garand enthusiasts. I downloaded the 37.4 M PDF version and it is great! HUZZAH! http://www.appleseedinfo.org/

Subject: Problem with the PDF download
There is a problem with the PDF download of the book. Only kbs downloads and then acrobat gives a message that there is something wrong with the file. Book looks great via the online reader.

Subject: Great addition to above mentioned videos
This is a great companion to the previously cited marksmanship videos. With this manual and those videos one can approach the "rifleman" standard. For more information on marksmanship training and becoming a rifleman, please visit www.rwva.org
